The Larder Membership
The Larder now offers the opportunity for individuals and/or organisations to become members of The Larder. Membership is free and all members have the opportunity to have a say on how we operate, the way we deliver our services, who our trustees are and can vote at our Annual General Meeting.
The Larder membership is open to:
- Beneficiaries of our projects, their families and any supporting individuals over the age of 16 who have an interest in the charitable objectives of the Company (Ordinary member)
- Organisations who have an interest in the charitable objectives of the Company (Associate Member)
The objectives of The Larder are:
- To further the education and skills development of young people in West Lothian in an attempt to increase their chances of sustainable employment.
- To educate and raise awareness of the ‘field to fork’ approach to a sustainable food system.
- To advance health and the advancement of the protection and improvement of the environment
- To relieve poverty particularly amongst the residents of West Lothian.
