For all our courses all you need to do is to contact one of our super friendly training team for more info but we have put a few faq’s below to help.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you want to take part in one of our school programmes, then please speak to one of your teachers who can help.

Our employability programmes speak to either an SDS advisor (16-17-year-old) or Department of Working Pensions (DWP) depending on your age.

For individual training account (ITA) applications go to https://www.myworldofwork.co.uk/learn-and-train and search for courses that The Larder deliver.

You can also get us at training@thelarder.org and we usually get back to you within 24 hours

These can vary from 2 days for ITA courses all the way up to a full term time at school (30 weeks)

Our employability programmes are usually 10-12 weeks

None whatsoever! The only cost you may have to incur is your travel time by car, bus, train depending on programme but some of these we offer allowances

Fun, engaging and interactive! Not only will you receive SQA qualifications but you get to work with the Larder family who love working with all our learners.

In most course, yes, but if you are nervous about this we can discuss 1-2-1 support. Our groups are small and we won’t ask you to do anything that you are not comfortable with, plus once you get going you will love not only working with our staff but your other learners who are in the same boat as you…hey you might make new friends ?
